Contouring

Product List:

  • concealer (Kryolan cubes)
  • foundation (used the primark ivory foundation as the base shouldn't be too thick for this look)
  • tinted moisturizer
  • cleanser, toner, moisturizer
  • translucent powder( Illamasqua)
  • highlighter (kryolan summer glow palette, MakeUp Revolution Palette Hot Spice Ultra Blush Palette)
  • Illamasqua duo contour palette
  • cream contour/concealer palette
  • brush kit

Steps:
  • cleanse and tone skin and apply moisturizer
  • for a glowy skin you can apply highlighter before putting on the base
  • apply the highlighter on areas you want to highlight: cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge, cupids bow, under the arch of the eyebrows
  • remember that for this look rather then going for a matte or dewy finish concentrate more on enhancing the natural face shape through contour and highlight
  • apply a tinted moisturizer but remember not to apply too much
  • then apply a tiny amount of foundation, dot it on and blend well; again not too much product!
  • conceal what is necessary to conceal; the tone should be slightly lighter than the skin tone (could also be used as a highlighter)
  • then highlight cheekbones, forehead, nose bridge, cupids bow, eyebrows, inner corner of eye with cream highlighter or powder highlighter; keep always blending as you go
  • for contouring you can use contour kits or darker tones from your concealer palette
  • know where you need to contour; forehead(the sides), cheekbones(underneath), side of nose, jaw line, eye sockets
  • when contouring use first a smaller brush and the use a bigger brush and powder to add more dimension
  • more sure there are absolutely no lines!
  • on top of the previous cream highlighter you can also add powder highlighter
  • add a bit of blusher/bronzer
